Let start with the definition of a Scientists. Whenever you heard about Greatest scientists You think about Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Nikola Tesla, Stephen Hawking.


Here are some other  Greatest Scientists of all time. 

1. Archimedes :

 Archimedes of Syracuse was a Greek mathematician, physicist, engineer, inventor, and astronomer. He is known for Archimedes Principle, Archimedes screw, hydrostatics, levers, infiniteimals. Archimedes is somewhat famous for designing war machines for his home state of Syracuse. one  of the famous device called Iron Claw. Determining the area of a circle was once considered a great mathematical challenge. Archimedes found a way to approximate it with a method called "Squaring the circle".

                              
2. Benjamin Franklin :

Benjamin Franklin was an American polymath and one of the Founding Fathers of an United States. Franklin was a leading writer, printer, political philosopher, politician, scientist, inventor and diplomat. Franklin is known for his experiments with electricity. Franklin's pointed lidhting rod design proved effective and soon topped buildings throughout the colonies. other inventions are Bifocals, Swim Fins, Franklin stove, Armonica.



3. Alessandro Volta :

Alessandro Volts was an Italian physicist, chemist, and pioneer of electricity and power who is credited as the inventor of the electric battery. he was the first person to isolate methane gas. he discovered that methane mixed with air could be exploded using an electric spark, this is basis of the internal combustion engine. Other inventions are Voltalic pile and Hydrogen Lamp.


4. Louis Pasteur : 

Louis Pasteur was a French biologist, microbiologist and chemist renowned for his discoveries of the principles of vaccination, microbial fermentation and pasteurization. he discovered that some molecules have mirror images. inventions of Louis Pasteur are pasteurization and chamberland filter. in 1881, he helped develop a vaccine for anthrax, which was used successfully in sheep, goats and cows.



5. Lord Kelvin : 

Sir William Thosmson was an irish-Scottish mathematical physicist and engineer who was born in Belfast in 1824. he codified the first two laws of thermodynamics and dedyced that the absolute zero of temperature is -273.15`c. other inventions are Kelvin water dropper and Ampere balance.




6. William Crookes : 

Sir William Crookes was a British chemist and physicist who attended the Royal College of Chemistry in London, and worked on Spectroscopy. in 1875 he invented the Crookes tube, an evacuted electrical discharge tube, which he used to generate so called cathode rays. he also invented Crookes radiometer.





7. Wilhelm Rontgen : 

Wilhelm Rontgen was a German mechanical engineer and physicist. he received the very first Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901 for his discovery of x-rays. Within two weeks of first generating X- rays he had invented X-ray Photography.



8. Pierre Curie : 

Pierre Curie was a French Physicist, a pioneer in crystallography, magnetism, piezoelectricity, and radioactivity. Pierre Curie shared the 1903 Nobel Prize in Physics with his wife, Merie curie, and Henri Becquerel for their discovries in radioactivity.



9. Robert Hooke : 

Robert Hooke was an English Natural Philosopher, architect and polymath. he discovered plant cells and discovered Hooke's law-the lae of elasticity. he also invented the balance spring, vital for accurate timekeeping in pocket watches.



10. Henry Moseley : 

Henry Gwyn Jeffreys Moseley was an English physicist. he had discovered the true basis of the periodic table and, in 1912 , invented the atomic battery. he is known for his Atomic number, and Moseley's law. his scientific career was cut short at very young age.
